Dates of Polish language qualification exams

The Polish Culture and Language Centre of the UJK in Kielce informs that Polish language exams for foreign candidates for students of the UJK for the 2023/2024 academic year will be held on July 5-6, 2023 (10:00 – written part, 13:00: 00 – oral part) and September 14, 2022 (10:00 – written part, 13:00 – oral part).

How does registration for the exam look like?

In order to register for the exam, please send an email to

with the following information:

– first name and last name,

– date and place of birth,

– field of study for which the candidate is applying,

– e-mail address.

What parts does the exam consist of and how long does it take?

The exam consists of two parts:

    written (writing time: no more than 120 minutes)

    oral (no longer than 20 minutes)

Who should participate in the exam?

Foreigners who want to study at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (also in its branches) for the first time.

What is the level of this exam?

The level of the entrance examination is B1.

When are the exams organized?

Polish language exams for foreign candidates for UJK students for the academic year 2023/2024 will be held online on 5-6 July 2023 (10:00 a.m. – written part, 1:00 p.m. – oral part) and on 14 September 2023 ( 10:00 – the written part, 1:00 p.m. – the oral part).

What platforms can I use for the speaking part of the remote exam?

The oral part takes place on the MS Teams platform. The link that the candidate will receive from us after registration, they will be able to join the conversation via a web browser, even if they do not have the MS Teams application.

The procedure of joining the remote examination

After registering (see “How does registration for the exam look like?”) You will receive an e-mail message about the creation of an account on a special platform where the written part of the exam will be held. You should then perform a trial login.

When logging in for the first time, the access password must be changed – a message with a form will appear.

How quickly will I get the results and what’s next?

The results will appear on the same day, and each participant will receive information about it. After passing the exam, you can continue the admission procedure.
